My background.

As a longtime working artist myself, I know well the importance of practical techniques and solutions that you can use both right away and for long term development and success.  I’ve been a regularly performing vocalist for decades, in many different musical arenas, everything from opera and musical theater stages nationally and abroad, to jazz clubs and major rock and pop festivals.  I’ve seen and been through it all.

No matter what style of music YOU do, a strong vocal foundation is so key to creating a beautiful, powerful and healthy instrument that will be there for you no matter what.

I am a vocal technician with a BA in Vocal Performance (North Central College), but my coaching methodology has been formed by my 20 years of experiences and needs as a working stage vocalist and artist.

And these are the techniques I can bring to you: whether you’re a Broadway belter, R&B/soul singer, Rock god, Pop princess, jazz crooner or opera diva, I can help you to truly live your best Voice_Life.

My Approach

What I can’t overstate is how crucial a solid vocal technique was and continues to be in allowing me to earn a living and share my passion for all these years, in spite of any vocal curveballs life might have in store.

I approach the voice with a scientific, anatomical process that allows your voice to flow freely. Overcome pain, fatigue, and uncertainty with a strong technical foundation that will carry you through any audition or performance.

I am about the receipts of our lessons, the proof to yourself that your voice is healthy, strong, and has its own unique sound. I'd love to achieve this through cabarets and open mics.
